Applicant should be fast paced, have excellent communication skills, be highly proficient with
computers/technology (as we are a paperless office), detail oriented, organized and able to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously while being positive, flexible and patient focused.
Daily responsibilities will include: working chairside with Dr. Freeman providing exceptional and
personalized orthodontic care (assisting with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances,
adjustments, retainer checks, orthodontic records (photos, x-rays and study models), patient education, accurately recording treatment performed in electronic charts, sterilizing instruments, tray set ups, assisting with lab work (pouring, trimming and fabrication of retainers), etc.
Experience is preferred however we are willing to train the right person! An individual without
experience can expect 6 to 12 weeks of intensive training at our office (study materials will be provided).
Future x-ray and orthodontic assisting certification will be required (we will provide the needed training and sponsor the certification testing fee).
Work Schedule is Typically:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m. and Friday 7:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch daily)
