At Academy for Dental Assistants, we believe teachers are the heart of education. They don’t just teach skills—they shape futures, inspire confidence, and change lives. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re proud to celebrate one of our own: Brooke Cauchon, Program Manager and Lead Instructor.
From Student to Leader
Brooke’s journey with the Academy for Dental Assistants began nearly a decade ago—as a student in our 12-Week Entry-Level Dental Assistant Training Program, which she enrolled in while still in high school. She later advanced her skills by completing our 6-Week Orthodontic Dental Assistant Course and went on to work in both general dentistry and orthodontics.
A Passion for Teaching
Brooke’s passion for dentistry and her love of learning naturally led her back to the Academy for Dental Assistants—this time as an instructor. Since joining our team, she has played a vital role in educating and empowering future dental assistants, teaching the 12-Week Entry Level Dental Assistant Training Program, the EFDA & Dental Radiology Certification Course and the 6-Week Orthodontic Dental Assistant Course.
Whether she’s guiding entry-level students or certifying experienced assistants relocating to Florida, Brooke brings energy, expertise, and a deep care for student success into every classroom.
A Legacy of Mentorship
What makes Brooke truly exceptional is her impact beyond the classroom. She has been shaped by the mentorship of experienced dentists, fellow educators, and colleagues, and now pays that mentorship forward. In fact, several of her former students have followed in her footsteps—returning to the Academy for Dental Assistants as instructors themselves after gaining experience in the field.
Her dedication and leadership are building a legacy that reaches far beyond a single course or classroom.
Thank You, Brooke
Brooke exemplifies what it means to be a great educator—committed, passionate, and influential. Her journey from student to leader reflects the values we hold dear at the A4DA, and we’re honored to celebrate her this week.
To Brooke—and to all the educators who show up every day with purpose and passion—thank you for making a difference in the lives of your students and the future of the dental field.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
