Instructors’ primary responsibilities are to provide active and effective learning for students in all applicable educational settings, act as professional and academic role models and commit to student satisfaction. This includes teaching in classrooms, labs, clinical and administrative duties. Be professional, organized, dependable, display teamwork at all times and be a positive influence for students, have respect for the individual, integrity, teamwork, customer service, and achievement. This position will eventually lead into the Program Director Role for the right candidate.

INSTRUCTIONAL DUTIES • 2 days per week Instruct classes as assigned • 2 days per week fulfill the administrative responsibilities of learning the enrollment process, and computer system • Prepare for classes by organizing and becoming familiar with student material • Prepare lesson plans and course material as required • Objectively assess students for academic performance • Effectively organize and present subject matter to students • Effectively utilize instructional plans provided • Document student attendance, performance and provide tutoring or remediation as needed • Ensure classes are conducted for the required length of time

RELATED DUTIES, OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM • Record keeping, student registration, answer calls related to the programs offered • Assist in inventory, organization and ordering of supplies and classroom material • Maintain classrooms in a neat and orderly fashion • Assist in maintenance of equipment and technology • Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and positive attitude; contribute to a positive experience for students • Assist in Clinical or Externship sites and development as needed
