Our accelerated 12-Week Entry-Level Dental Assisting Training Program is offered in a blended/hybrid format, providing students with practical experience in chairside assisting, dental radiology, sterilization, and patient care. The program is designed to build both technical skills and professional confidence. Upon successful completion, graduates earn their Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and Dental Radiology Certifications, becoming fully prepared to begin their careers in as little as 12 weeks.

What You’ll Learn

Each week, you will develop your skills step by step through a balanced combination of instruction and hands-on training. Our program is designed to prepare you for real clinical environments by focusing on practical, job-ready experience.

Throughout the program, you will learn how to:

  • Work confidently in a dental office, including patient support and daily clinical tasks

  • Safely use dental instruments, equipment, and technology

  • Perform essential clinical skills such as sterilization, infection control, and chairside assisting

You will practice these skills in a hands-on setting, allowing you to apply what you learn in real time. This practical approach builds confidence and prepares you to step into a dental office with assurance.

We minimize long lectures and emphasize active, hands-on learning. This format keeps you engaged, helps you retain information more effectively, and accelerates skill development.

By the end of the program, you will have the certifications, hands-on experience, and professional training that employers seek in a dental assistant.

Certification & Externship

After finishing the 12-week course and completing your 200-hour externship, you’ll earn:

  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification

  • Dental Radiology Certification

Our program is approved by the Florida Board of Dentistry, so you’ll graduate fully qualified to begin working in a dental office.

Please Note:
The 12-Week Dental Assistant Training Program is fast-paced. Students should also plan to spend 8 to 10 hours per week outside of class on reading, assignments, video lessons, and review. This extra study time is essential for success.

Start by enrolling — As a student, you’ll attend class one day per week for 12 weeks at our facility.

Next, gain hands-on experience with a 200-hour externship at a general dental office of your choice.

Then, graduate with EFDA and Dental Radiology Certifications.

Bonus: All required exams and registrations are included — no surprise testing fees.

Our entry-level dental assistant program combines classroom learning with real hands-on training.

Here’s what skills you’ll gain:

  • Master essential daily dental office tasks and patient support skills.

  • Gain experience with dental tools and equipment used in real clinics.

  • Train in sterilization, infection control, and chairside assisting.

  • Build confidence with practical, hands‑on dental training.

By graduation, you’ll be prepared to step into a dental office with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed.

After completing the 12‑Week program and a 200‑hour externship, you will earn both the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification and Dental Radiology Certification.

Approved by the Florida Board of Dentistry, our dental assistant training and certification programs prepare graduates to enter the workforce ready for real clinical settings.
